Superior to the others |

There are two competitors to this device that I'm aware of, one by Epic and the other by Trango.
One of my friends has the Epic stick clip and it's failings are the reason I bought the Superclip. My draws have key-nose gates and it won't hold them open, though it works with his draws since it can grip the pin near the end of the gate. Also you have to be careful or the weight of the rope will pull the draw out of the device and send it crashing to the ground.
The closer competitor is the Trango Squid. I don't have as much experience using this device, but it's pros and cons are fairly obvious (watch the YouTube demo). It's made of plastic and has moving parts, so it's durability could be an issue for those that are harder on their gear. The bigger con is that it's a trickier to use than the other two.
The Superclip is easier to use, works with a wide range of 'biners, is very durable, and it holds in a way that you don't have to worry about dropping your draws.
